Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using VOD Review, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree, do not use the software.

2. License Grant

VOD Review is licensed, not sold.

Upon purchase, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use VOD Review on one device at a time.

You may not:

  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the software
  • Share your license key
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Circumvent activation, fingerprinting, or license enforcement systems

All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

3. Intellectual Property

VOD Review, including but not limited to its software, source code, design, interface, graphics, branding, logos, text, features, functionality, and underlying technology, is the exclusive property of VOD Review and is protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other applicable intellectual property laws.

All rights, title, and interest in and to the software remain with VOD Review.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to discover source code
  • Remove or alter proprietary notices
  • Reproduce or distribute any portion of the software without written permission

Unauthorized use may result in license termination and legal action.

4. License Activation and Device Limits

Each license:

  • Is tied to a device fingerprint
  • May only be active on one device at a time
  • May be moved to another device, subject to a cooldown period

Excessive device transfers, abuse, or attempts to bypass activation restrictions may result in license suspension or revocation.

5. Refund Policy

Refunds are available under the following conditions:

  • Refund request within 7 days of purchase
  • Total usage under 2 hours
  • License has not been transferred between devices

Refunds are processed through Stripe and returned to the original payment method.

Refunded licenses are automatically revoked.

6. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If a chargeback or payment dispute is filed:

  • The associated license will be immediately revoked
  • Access to the software will be terminated

Fraudulent disputes may be contested and reported.

7. Software Updates

VOD Review may include automatic update functionality.

You acknowledge that:

  • Updates may be required for continued use
  • Older versions may become unsupported
  • Minimum supported versions may be enforced

8. Playtime and Usage Tracking

The software may track usage metrics including:

  • Activation timestamps
  • Validation timestamps
  • Total playtime
  • Device fingerprint data

This data is used solely for licensing enforcement, fraud prevention, and refund validation.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the software to:

  • Violate platform terms of service
  • Infringe intellectual property rights
  • Conduct unlawful activity

You are responsible for compliance with third-party platform rules.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

VOD Review is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We do not guarantee:

  • Continuous uptime
  • Compatibility with all systems
  • Error-free performance

Use is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

VOD Review shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Loss of data
  • Lost profits
  • Business interruption

Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the license.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or revoke licenses for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Abuse or fraud
  • Chargebacks or payment disputes

Termination does not entitle you to a refund outside the stated refund policy.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
